The
Translite designed range of quality transducers fully complies
with International British
and Australian standards IEC688 & 414, BS6253 & 5483 and
AS1384 having an accuracy of class 0.2.
These
transducers are used to convert AC voltage, current, frequency
or instantaneous power signals into load independent DC signals,
proportional to the measured value.
The
output signal enables several receiving instruments, such as
analogue meters, digital indicators, recorders, controllers,
etc. to be operated simultaneously, both at the measuring point
and/or at a distant location. The signal can also be used to
drive programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and data processing
equipment.
A
feature of these transducers is that the entire range is housed
in two models of the same molded case, simplifying panel design
and installation. Triple Current and Voltage, Watt Hour,
Watt/Watt Hour, Var Hour, Var/Var Hour transducers consist of a
power transducer and integrator housed in the 100mm (4”) case
to produce both analogue and pulse output; the other models are
housed in the 50mm (2”) case.
Each
unit has a label providing electrical specification and wiring
details. Special ranges, combined units or customer specials can
be made to order. Preferred ranges are normally available from
stock.
